Then, in order to have the sky blue, God separated the waters and put an ocean in the sky.

God then “hung” the sun, moon, planets, and stars (billions of trillions of suns) from this dome.

The Bible, NOWHERE, shows ANY understanding of either how we understand cosmology nor how it came to be in its present state.

Confirm by mentions of the waters above ‘heaven’ (dome) in Psalms and Isaiah. Also, God opened the “windows” in the dome and let some of the ocean fall down to the flat earth during the Flood.

I’m confused. What does the theory of evolution (that heredity with variation plus selective environmental pressures results in the change in allele frequencies) have to do with astronomy? You claim to refute the evolutionist model of astronomy, but I can’t see how there is one in the first place.

I don’t know how many of your claims are true. Maybe you are correct about problems with the standard model of the universe. However, you don’t offer any evidence to support a theory that it was created by a supernatural being. If you did come up with any evidence, it would be the greatest discovery ….EVER. The best you can do, if you are honest, is to say that no one really knows how it all started.

What exactly is the ‘evolutionary’ model you keep mentioning? Evolution has nothing to do with astronomy. What is the ‘crisis’ you mention? There is no such crisis. Virtually every scientist currently working in astronomy / astrophysics / cosmology agrees that the universe is 13+ billion years old. Even a kid on a beach playing with sand can see that the world around us is more than a few thousand years old… Stop lying about reality, grow up and face the truth: There is no god.

Ladies and Gentlemen: when I took Astronomy, we were told about the “evolution” of stars and the universe. Why is anyone stating that “evolution” has nothing to do with astronomy?

Evolution has nothing to do with astronomy. For books by a Christian who knows more about astronomy, I recommend Hugh Ross.

Another characteristic of the Universe that needs to be addressed is: every object in the universe is different, unique within itself. Indicates each was created with its own personality (makeup). The moons of Jupiter are all different in makeup than Jupiter, itself. So, the logical reasoning becomes—if the Universe occurred from a “big bang”, then, why aren’t all the stars and planets and other objects all basically the same material. Collossians 1:16 “For by Him (Jesus Christ) were all things created that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisable,………..all things were created by him and for him.”

First there was geological evolution, then Charlie gave us biological evolution and soon after came cosmological evolution. Today there are scientists postulating a chemical evolution.

A pretty normal materialist attack: Ridicule the Creationist and supply no concrete reasons for it. The author here provides evidence for why he thinks Jupiter and its moons look young. Where is the rebuttal? And name calling doesn’t count. Evolution is the consensus view, but that doesn’t make it right. Don’t forclose early on the debate before you honestly take a look at the counter-argument. Dismissing something out-of-hand because everyone else agrees with it just absolves one from thinking for oneself. The Emperor has new clothes, but who is brave enough to say what they really see?

Also, cosmology has everything to do with evolution, for cosmology provides the framework and timeframe for evolution to work within. If you falsify one, you falsify the other. The author’s use of the term “evolution” is justifiable. Evolution did start with the Big Bang, did it not? At least that’s how the story goes. I suppose the more appropriate term would have been “materialist,” but if the best you can do is argue semantics than you have lost the debate.

Most people are indoctrinated to believe in evolution and a bunch of random accidents. I too believed in evolution at one time. Put away all of your preconceived ideas about science and openly look at both sides of the debate. Why are scientists and professors losing their jobs over the issue? Could there be an agenda in the background? I encourage everyone to see the documentary from Ben Stein “Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed. Also read some of the books from Dr. Duane Gish and Dr. John Morris. I have seen the bumper sticker, Things Happen, well, not without a cause they don’t. Don’t close your mind to differing opinions. I always thought that open discussion is what drove science, how can we learn without it?

Don`t pretend that by “Evolution” he is not equating it with the Theory of Evolution.

If he really is using the term to mean “change over time” then substitute that for “evolution” in his sentences and see how they no longer make sense.

Looks like you hit a nerve! I have been perusing the irrational musings of bad world(universe)views. I guess they didn’t read their textbooks on astronomy. Apparently, not the Bible either, since it is so misquoted here! Flat earth? Not in the Bible, just in secular history books.
